...for the thirsty along burma road...

If ever you are in town, to be exact, in Burma Road, to be exact, near Green House Coffee Shop on a hot afternoon, do stop by this stall selling on of the best thirst quenching Lo Han Kuo drink. It is located directly opposite Service Road (between Seventh Day Adventist Church and New Cathay Coffee Shop), this stall is diffificult to be missed. It is usually parked under an old huge tree directly outside Seng Hup Electrics.

For RM1.00, you get to enjoy a nice ice cold bowl of Honey Lo Han Kuo, with strips of the fruit, few cubes of nata de coco, some large sago and some dried longans. The drink is not too sweet, just nice to quench your throat under the hot sun.

The stall has been in operation since last past 20 years (maybe). I can remember it when I was staying nearby. I used to walk and then later, cycle to get a cuppa. It was mended then by a young lady with only some teeth (hopefully not because of too much of that drink), sometimes an older auntie and sometimes a uncle who has tatooed eye brows and gory red painted finger nails (hey girls, please lah share some beauty tips with him!!!).

The stall also serve some other "herbal" related drinks, but for rm1.00 and under the scorching sun, this is simply refreshing!!!
